Problem: Increased forces on the axle cause equipment failure
More shock or g-Force energy transmission can lead to wheel cracks, more overall wear
and tear on the vehicle, decreased tire wear and shorter vehicle operating times.
Cause: Solid tires and hard flatproofing create rigid suspensions
Typically, an air-filled tire transmits shock through the tire, wheel, axle, and vehicle to the operator. As seen here, solid tires and polymers with higher durometers transfer forces directly to the axle and suspension creating a large amounts of stress.
Solution: Distribute load throughout the tire
A tire filled with SuperFlex actually rides better than an air-filled tire. Shock is absorbed rather than transmitted directly to the wheels, axle and suspension. Reducing shock and vibration allow vehicles to operate at higher speeds
