"One Tote, One Tree" Update

Non-profit Program Plants 5000 New Trees in 2008

In 2008, American Forests a worldwide environmental tree planting non-profit organization, planted almost 4 million trees from Alaska to West Virginia and from Armenia to Mexico. Millions of new trees were planted in over 45 ecosystem restoration projects worldwide; 41 of which were here in the United States alone.

The same year Arnco decided to form a partnership with American Forests.  The aim was to bring more shade to the nation on behalf of each customer who purchased a tote of our products.  Arnco is proud to announce the planting of five thousand trees so far in the “one tote one tree” campaign.  At Arnco, there is a passion for the pursuit of answers through innovation.  Following that belief Arnco decided to split their donation and give $5,000 to the Piedmont Crescent research project, a study dedicated to greening urban infrastructure and finding innovative solutions to help communities thrive in a green environment.  In 2009, Arnco will continue to donate to Global Relief and to further research projects in order to help ensure a better future for us all.
