Pete's Road Service Partnership strong again with Arnco Flatproofing Products

Welcome Back Pete

Arnco recently welcomed Pete’s Road Service back to our family of dealers after a brief stint with one of our competitors. Pete’s plays a major role in the commercial tire business with nine locations servicing the Southern California market.

The patriarch of this family owned business, Pete Fletcher, founded his company in 1969 in a gas station in Fullerton just down the road from their current headquarters. Pete’s now employs 175 people with 45 service trucks . They are currently processing Arnco fill products at 8 of their locations offering their customers a quick turnaround time and a solution to their flatproofing needs. Pete’s has added both SuperFlex and the Carefree Tire line to their inventory of Arnco products .

Kyle Fletcher, Director of Operations, states that because of Arnco’s quality and competitive price Pete’s Road Service has succeeded in an extremely demanding market.

Rick Lewis, Manager of the Gardena location that recently relocated from Long Beach said, “The leads that Arnco generates and gives to us has been very appreciated and helpful in gaining new customers.”

One thing that has benefited them in a very cost conscious, competitive market is the offering of SuperFlex as an option from standard harder durometer fill. Superflex is Arnco’s premium flatproofing product that rides better than air. Dave Taylor, the manager of the Corona store, has offered his customers a hands on demonstration of the benefits of Superflex. Dave filled the tires on their skid steer with SuperFlex. “All I need to do if a customer has any doubts about flatproofing being too hard on the machine and operator is to have them take a spin on the skid steer around the lot and I have a new Superflex customer.”
