Arnco's Green Initiative

Our Evolving Commitment to a Greener Planet

For over 35 years, Arnco has been at the forefront of the tire flatproofing industry.  We have long been concerned about the environment and the impact that we have on it.  For years we have been dependent on petrochemicals as a major component of our patented polyurethane technology and for years we have been trying to end that dependency.  Now we have taken the first step.  Our new, patented ecofil ® technology will reduce petrochemicals and instead will use renewable and environmentally based components.  We are committed to providing products that perform as well as or better than conventional products and that are safe and environmentally responsible.

In addition to reducing our petrochemical consumption, Arnco has many company-wide initiatives and continually strives to learn more about how we can make a difference and implement new eco-friendly practices.  We are committed to looking internally to create a green workspace in all of our offices, labs and production facilities.  We have recycling programs at our facilities, use recycled products when possible, have switched to more environmentally friendly cleaning products and are looking at ways to become more energy efficient.  We both encourage and educate our employees on how they can personally make positive impacts on the environment that we all share.  We believe that through science we can help preserve and conserve our natural resources for the benefit of future generations.

Arnco is proud to announce our “One Tote, One Tree” program in partnership with American Forests.  We have committed to planting one tree per tote of product sold.  Through this partnership, Arnco will plant a minimum of 15,000 new trees annually and donate to the research that is paramount to understanding the sustainability of our environment.

We’re happy with what we’ve achieved so far, but there is much more we need to do and can do to help make our planet greener.   We recognize and applaud our customers, employees, and vendors who have their own green initiatives and who are helping to make a difference for this generation and for generations to come.
